Do you love the market?! Help us provide valuable interaction and information to market customers at our information booth.
Information Booth Support volunteer duties may include greeting guests, handing out materials, assisting with giveaways, customer counts, and general staff help. As a volunteer with the Information Booth, you can learn more about the impact that the Hillsboro Farmers' Markets make on individuals, families, and communities. You will gain skills in customer service and information sharing about health and wellness. You can connect with your local growers and producers to make new friends and learn more about local produce support.
Before your shifts are scheduled, you will be able to select the market day that is the best fit for them and receive more specific instructions. Dress appropriately for a family event and for the weather. Don't forget comfortable, closed-toed shoes! Volunteers will check in at the Farmers Market information booth.
The Hillsboro Farmers' Markets run from April to October, and volunteer help is needed on Saturday or Sunday AM/PM. Come join the fun and help market visitors and vendors get all the info they need!
Hillsboro Farmers' Markets creates community gathering-places for people to buy local produce and products. We partner with farms, small businesses, and groups to provide education and resources. These efforts strive to enhance our community health and economic growth.
