ORGANIZATION: Friends of the Wells Branch Library

Share your love of music and encourage those learning to play the happiest instrument on earth! In conjunction with the Club Facilitator, this volunteer will assist club members by teaching each month’s chosen song selections, encouraging group practice and learning, and leading group sessions as needed. The volunteer must be able to attend group meetings on the first Tuesday of each month from 4:30pm-6:15pm. Basic ukulele skills required, including knowledge of chords and interpreting chord charts. Ability to read standard musical notation is not necessary.

Description

Friends of the Wells Branch Community Library (FOL) is a local organization that supports the community library by helping to fund special programs, provide equipment and provide volunteers for all areas of the library including children's programs, employment assistance, and computer services to the general public. The FOL secures volunteers to help move books and other materials into the hands of the patrons.
