South Valley is a domestic violence shelter in West Jordan Utah. Our goal is to empower those effected by domestic violence and ensuring they have a safe place to go. We help both individuals and families who are in crisis.
We are looking for someone or a small group to come help with some small organization tasks around our shelter. We have a few different projects so it would be up to you to pick which one or few sound best for you. Some of them include organizing files, arranging our boutique, sorting donations, and sorting food in our kitchen and pantry. The times and days are very flexible and really just depend on when you or your group is able to come. Just let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
We are looking for help also with setting up shower heads and TV Antennas. We have received a grant to get new ones for our residents but need help setting them up.
We are open to volunteers that are looking for a one time opportunity or ongoing volunteering.
