American Leprosy Missions (ALM) is seeking kind and compassionate individuals to volunteer with us.
Through volunteering you will work closely with our development team to care for our generous supporters. We are in need of those who can give some of their time to bring encouragement to those who make our work possible. We cannot do what we do without a team and we hope you join us today!
Office Hours: Mon-Thurs. 8am-5pm Friday. 8 am -12pm
Volunteer Activities:
- Write notes of thanks to our donors
- Write prayer responses to donors
- Assist with other tasks as needed, i.e. preparation for special events

American Leprosy Missions exists to serve as a channel of Christ’s love to persons affected by leprosy and related diseases, helping them to be healed in body and spirit and restored to lives of dignity and hope.
Description
More than one billion men, women and children are affected by neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), including leprosy and Buruli ulcer. These diseases affect the poorest and most marginalized people and can lead to:
➤ Profound pain and suffering
➤ Malnutrition
➤ Lifelong disabilities
➤ Increased poverty
➤ Stigma and isolation
American Leprosy Missions serves people affected by six NTDs that can cause disabilities and ongoing complications:
➤ Leprosy
➤ Buruli ulcer
➤ Lymphatic filariasis (also known as elephantiasis)
➤ Yaws
➤ Leishmaniasis
➤ Trachoma
