Trail Ambassadors monitor the Great Miami River Trail in Middletown at least 4 hours a month on their bicycle from March through October (weather dependent). Trail Ambassadors report maintenance and safety concerns to MetroParks staff, assist trail users when necessary, provide information to trail users, and perform light trail maintenance. Description
MetroParks of Butler County was established in 1955 for the purpose of preserving and restoring areas of outstanding natural significance within the county. MetroParks offers active recreational opportunites such as hiking, walking and jogging, fishing, boating, camping in a wide variety of beautiful and convenient settings. There are also opportunites for historical and conservation education, with historical sites and natural areas- 3000+ acres, 10 openly active parks, 18 miles of hiking trails, 22 reservable shelters, a conference center.
