Jumpstart UMKC offers weekly volunteer events that make it super easy to gain service hours, network with UMKC students and staff, and it is incredibly beneficial to the children of Jumpstart! This is a recurring service hour opportunity for a Material Creation & Preparation event. Brief details about the material creation event can be found below.

Material Creation & Preparation Event


WHAT:
Volunteers will help prepare Jumpstart Session Plan materials for the children of Jumpstart. Volunteers will support efforts such as cutting out, printing, organizing, designing and laminating materials used in activities during classroom time.

WHEN: Material Creation & Preparation events are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm.

WHERE: Jumpstart Office; 4825 Troost Ave, Suite 215, Kansas City, MO 64110. Student parking (with parking pass) and coined metered parking is available.

WHY: Simple. Every child in America enters kindergarten prepared to succeed.
