Safe Halls Project Inc. is in need of volunteers to read children books in the classrooms of Pre-K through second grade. Reading for Safety is a reading presentation at participating schools. The picture books will be on the subject of school safety with a short Q&A about the book and its subject. Volunteers should be able to travel within the New York metropolitan area and willing to be subject to a background check.

Safe Halls Project provides communties with an uninhibited forum to express their concerns regarding school safety. Safe Halls provides safety assessments via student surveys and creative projects. We partner with schools within New York and surrounding areas.
