Large cat foster home seeks dedicated individuals to assist with cat care. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning cat areas, including washing bowls, disinfecting surfaces, brushing cat condos, and vacuuming
  • Scooping and cleaning litter boxes
  • Feeding cats wet food and dry food and changing water
  • Socializing cats
We are seeking helpers for morning (8:30-10:30 AM) and evening (6:00-7:30 PM) shifts. All volunteers must be 21+.
Each shift is between 1 1/2-2 hours, and you will be working with another person. We ask that you commit to at least 1 day per month, preferably 2. Mission Statement

EVA’S KITTIES MISSION INCLUDES: 1) facilitate the rescue, fostering, and adoption of abandoned, abused, unwanted, stray, neglected, or injured cats as well as cats who are orphaned as a result of their human caretaker’s illness or death 2) provide feeding, veterinary care, or other support to feral cat colonies; 3) when appropriate, assist with socialization and adoption of tame, shy, and feral cats and kittens; 4) provide sanctuary housing for non-feral, hard-to-adopt cats; 5) provide educational programming regarding proper care for kittens and cats; 6) provide financial assistance to support caring for cats in low-income families in our areas of service; 7) to develop and support quality foster care sites; and, 8) acquire a permanent shelter to house cats. THE SECOND PART OF OUR MISSION IS TO CONTROL THE FERAL CAT POPULATION THROUGHT OUR TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN-MAINTAIN (TNRM) PROGRAM.
