Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back to the community & to others!? Are you musically inclined? If so, we have the opportunity for you!
We are currently seeking Music Therapy Volunteers within the Perryville area to visit our patients. As a music therapy volunteer, you may sing or play an instrument for patient's that are on our services. This may include visits within nursing homes, or even in the patients home, whichever you feel most comfortable with.
Being a volunteer for our patients is a very rewarding experience and will be a blessing to you, as well as the patient. Gentiva Hospice offers a specalized type of care for individuals who have been given a six month or less to live diagnosis. Gentiva Hospice offers help to our patients and their loved ones to take control of their life and their disease. Gentiva Hospice can take place in a variety of settings, and is designed to surround the patient and the family with the physical, emotional, and spiritual resources needed to make the most of every moment.
