Best Buddies Walk 2019 Committee Members (Oahu) Best Buddies Hawaii is looking for Committee Members to help make this year's Friendship Walk (May, 4th) a success!
We are an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Check out more details https://www.bestbuddiesfriendshipwalk.org/oahu/
We have opportunities for everyone!!
*Team Recruitment Committee Members ~ Will recruit Walk Teams and guide them in fundraising.
*Sponsorship Committee Members ~ Work directly with the local the business community in our mission and engaging sponsors.
*Mission Committee ~ Attend events to spread awareness and promote the Best Buddies Mission.
Committee Members will have the full support of the Committee Chair. Also, all funds raised will be used for local programs. If interested respond via e-mail for call to discuss how you can volunteer with us! BestBuddiesWalk@yahoo.com

Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
