- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
Come celebrate the coming of spring by helping to plant our new bioswale on the Richmond Greenway. Come learn about our rain gardens and bioswales that we are creating as part of Richmond's new Unity Park. We'll have a fun day out in nature planting native plants and tending our native habitat gardens. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes. We'll provide tools, gloves, water, and snacks. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Minors under 18 need to have a waiver signed by a parent.
We are located on the Richmond Greenway between 17-19th Streets. We recommend parking on 20th St. by the Greenway and walking towards Unity Park on the Greenway (the Greenway is sandwiched between Ohio and Chanslor Aves.)
Please contact us for waivers or with any questions at sharon@thewatershedproject.org
