Girl Scouts Heart of Central California

April is financial literacy month, and girls are celebrating by earning their Money Counts and Money Manager badges! Spend the evening leading workshops for Daisies and Brownies (grades K-3) as they learn all about money and how to manage it, and earn a financial literacy badge. During this workshop volunteers will lead a variety of activities that will teach girls more about money, what it is worth, and how to manage money wisely. Volunteers will help with event set-up and clean up too.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Experience working with young children
  • Experience in banking, finance, math or teaching a plus
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Must be able to volunteer for the full event
  • Supportive of different learning and communication styles
  • Willing to lead activity stations for girls of all ages (full instructions for each station will be given at the event)
  • Punctual, dependable, enthusiastic, flexible and positive attitude
  • Ability to facilitate programs when given instructions
