We are hosting our third family night at Homework Central, where we host all our students and their families for a night of fun and engaging activities! This month's theme is 'Movement' - we're going to be teaching our students how to stretch, dance, and other activities that encourage movement indoors. We're looking for volunteers who are comfortable dancing, stretching, and playing movement games with children of all ages and their families.

The mission of Homework Central is to assist children in developing their capacity to learn and achieve through homework assistance and family support.
Description
Homework Central is an after-school tutoring program for 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders in the San Mateo-Foster City School District. We operate at four community sites from September to May providing individualized and group tutoring in English, reading, and math. Homework Central is a nonprofit organization focused on educational equity for disadvantaged students ensuring that they have the same opportunities as their peers.
