Purpose: JASA's Brooklyn Friendship House in Williamsburg welcomes older adults who are recovering from mental illnesses. The programs include therapeutic recreation, health-related services, and social activities designed to encourage positive community living. Members of JASA's Friendship House are interested in recording songs they have written over the years. We are looking for a volunteer who can help them sing the songs (on key) and burn CDs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead seniors in song
  • Create CDs with the songs

  • Flexible scheduling is available during the day on weekdays
  • Maintain professional behavior at all times and adhere to JASA’s volunteer policies
