Tractor Pull Events
The Orange County Farmers Museum holds 3 tractor pull events each month from May - October, these events are on Sundays and begin at 10am. They are always free to the public and the proceeds that are earned on the pulling track and concession stand keep the museum funded for the many operational expenses it has.
The Orange County Farmers Museum is a 501c3 and all Volunteer Organization that does not have a paid staff.
During our Tractor Pull Events we need to have the following jobs covered so the event and it's participants can compete safely and in an efficient manner:
Tractor Operator for pulling back the weight transfer sled
Scale Person to log the weight of the tractors
Flag Person on the track to indicate stop and go actions by the pullers
Hook Person, to hook the tractor to the weight transfer sled
Announcers, person(s) to announce the pullers and weight classes during the pull
Registration Table, person(s) to sign up pullers and collect fees
Concession Stand , person(s) to operate the cash register and take orders
Visitor Center Attendant, a person to greet visitors to the museum and learn about the Farmers Museum to educate those who come in to visit.
Experience is not required.
We offer a fun and friendly environment with many volunteer opportunities.
We'll work with your schedule.
