Housing Works is a healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Their mission is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through relentless advocacy, the provision of lifesaving services, and entrepreneurial businesses that sustain our efforts.WHAT WE'LL BE DOING:
Volunteers would be helping Housing Works with their internet sales department, picking and packing books that have been order from us online, as well as possibly helping us sort donations and tidy up our shelves.HOUSING WORKS: Housing Works is New York's largest minority-controlled, community-based, nonprofit agency which provides housing, health care, advocacy, job training and vital supportive services to homeless New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS. Their mission is to reach the most vulnerable and underserved people affected by the AIDS epidemic.
