SCORE is a nationwide organization with over 11,000 volunteers and 350 chapters. The organization was started over 50 years to mentor and support local small businesses.
The Miami-Dade Chapter is looking for a volunteer to help organize and present a training program to our mentors and volunteers. All the materials are available and provided through our National organization. The training would be to organize and conduct 1-2 hour training sessions for
1. New Volunteers Orientation (every 2-3 months)
2. Refresher training for Chapter mentors (quarterly or as needed)
3. Organize existing mentors to train other mentors on their areas of expertise. (1-2 classes a month)
4. Mentor-Coach training- ( quarter or as needed)
If you have a teaching background this would be most helpful.
The time commitment would be 8-12 hours a month.

We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.
For over 50 years, SCORE’s thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
We provide:
- Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
- Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
- Free business tools, templates and tips online
- Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
