SCORE is a nationwide volunteer organization with over 11,000 volunteers and 350 chapters. The organization was started over 50 years to help mentor small businesses in our local communities. The Miami-Dade chapter is looking for a volunteer to help support and strengthen our recruiting efforts to attract small business mentors, subject matter experts, workshop presenters and chapter support. This will allow the chapter continued growth to provide no cost mentoring and support to additional businesses in our community.
Experience with human resources for recruiting, interviewing with strong communication skills will be most helpful. Hours and days are flexible and can work from home or at our space in Coral Gables. This will only require a few hours a week.

Description
SCORE, America’s premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.
For over 50 years, SCORE’s thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
We provide:
- Free, confidential business mentoring in person, via email or by video
- Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across industries
- Free business tools, templates and tips online
- Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7)
