American Cancer Society is looking for Full Event Day volunteers for the NorCal Rugged Maniac Obstacle Race taking place on 3/23/19 at Alameda County Fairgrounds.

Rugged Maniac will donate $15 towards the fight against cancer for every volunteer that signs up with us.

Responsibilities may include checking in racers, providing t-shirts to runners as they check in, assisting with merchandise sales, assisting with the operation of racer bag check, guiding/assisting runners at an obstacle, handing out water to runners, handing out medals at the finish line, and ensuring runners are wearing correct bib to enter start gate.

Volunteers will receive:
● Super Volunteer Shirt
● Free Snacks/Water
● Free Parking
● Free Meal

The American Cancer Society estimates that approximately 1.5 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States this year. More than 560,000 Americans will lose their battle. That’s nearly 1,500 people a day. In the United States, one of every four deaths is from cancer. The American Cancer Society is committed to changing these devastating odds.
