Camp Helen State Park is pleased to announce that we will be offering a standing Volunteer Workday on Thursday’s from 9am to 12pm.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to meet other people with similar interests (working in the outdoors, volunteerism), acquiring knowledge about how resources are managed within our parks and pride in maintaining a state park with historic, cultural and natural resources in their local community. Responsibilities will primarily focus on maintenance and natural resource management throughout the park, as well as other projects identified by park management. There is no experience required and park management will provide necessary training and orientation.

To sign up to become a volunteer, please go to the following link at https://volunteers.floridastateparks.org , click on "APPLICATIONS" at the top of the page, select "Individual Volunteer Application" from the drop-down menu and complete the online application. If you have further questions about volunteer opportunities, reach out to Camp Helen & Eden Gardens Park Services Specialist, Scarlett Dunn, at Scarlett.A.Dunn@dep.state.fl.us or call (850)276-8322. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at Camp Helen State Park!
