Would you like to support an amazing group of dedicated Ombudsman volunteers? We are seeking someone to join the Springwell Volunteer Team and support our Ombudsman Program Manager and our amazing volunteers, in our office. The community based Ombudsman volunteers are making a profound difference in the lives of people living in long term care facilities in our community. At Springwell we cover all Nursing Homes and Rest Homes in 8 towns: Belmont, Brookline, Needham, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Weston and Wellesley. Ombudsman volunteers act as resident advocates, ensuring that complaints and concerns are heard. They could not do this valuable work without support behind the scenes in our Waltham office. Administrative tasks include reviewing and summarizing reports, and entering records in the Ombudsman online data base. As part of this role, you will also be trained and certified as an Ombudsman. Do you want to make a real difference? Visit our website for more information: www.springwell.com/service/ombudsman-program or email volunteer@springwell.com
Please contact us now in order to reserve a seat at the upcoming training on September 9, 10 and 11th.
