The YMCA of Southern Maine is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to serve on its branch advisory boards.

Who are we?
The YMCA of Southern Maine is a nonprofit organization committed to building strong kids, individuals,
families, and communities through programs and services that promote a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, regardless of ability to pay. The YMCA of Southern Maine’s four branches, six before-and-after-school sites,
five camps, and child care center serve over 31,000 individuals each year. Last year, the YMCA of Southern
Maine provided more than $2.2 million in financial assistance to nearly 5,500 youth, individuals, and families
to ensure community access to all YMCA programs. The YMCA of Southern Maine is committed to diversity
and providing an inclusive community for all.

Who are you?
As a branch advisory board volunteer, you serve a critical role in helping us execute our mission at a local level. You actively participate in fostering community relationships, play a critical role in our annual fundraising campaign, cultivate donors throughout the year and help us ensure that our efforts are well aligned with the needs of our members and the community as a whole. You are civic-minded, embrace the Y’s cause, and you have a passion for cultivating relationships with community leaders who can help expand the Y’s impact. You can contribute 2-4 hours per month and enjoy working with a dynamic and committed team of volunteers.
