Jewish Male Mentor for 12 year old Boy!
ORGANIZATION: Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston
Please visit the new page to apply.
Seeking a Jewish Mentor in his 40's/50's to be a BIG BROTHER to 12 year old boy approaching his Bar Mitzvah and being raised by single parent. Zach loves science, engineering, technology, music, and movie making. He is outgoing, bright, and imaginative. He enjoys doing some of the the following activities: playing chess, biking, hiking, using/exploring/discussing technology & science, and music-focused activities.
This would be a great volunteer opportunity for someone whose kids are grown. The BIG BROTHER would agree to spend 1:1 time, twice a month, for 2-4 hours, mostly on the weekends, and with at least one year commitment. It doesn't take much to change a life... talking, sharing interests, doing activities, and just having fun. If you live in the Brookline, Newton, Wellesley, Natick area, and are interested in this opportunity, we would love to tell you more!
