Each year Chippewa Nature Center celebrates our Maple Syrup Season with our annual Maple Syrup Day-this year the event will be held on Saturday, March 16th. Volunteers play a critical role in making the event a success for over 1,000 visitors. The event is held from 10 am - 4 pm but shifts are much shorter.
As the event gets closer we still have a few opportunities available:
Adults volunteers and High School Seniors can work the admission gate-outside (shifts are 11:00-1:15 and 1:00-3:15) or a limited number of opportunities to help with food prep during the pancake meal (inguire about specific times and duties). Thsoe wishing to assist with parking shift is 11:00-2:00.
Consider volunteering to help make this a great event for our community-volunteers are invited to enjoy the event for free before or after their shift.
