Our sports/activities program is comprised of compassionate mentors for students in the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh grades . Mentors help struggling students reach their full potential by instilling a sense of dignity and hope in each child; giving them the opportunity to experience a safe and healthy childhood that promotes healthy lifestyles, and successful futures. Mentors work with individual students one-on-one and in small group settings.

Description
Fifth Ward Saints North is a Social-Emotional Academic and Athletic Development Program that uses both sports and education to build relationships and engage children and their families with community resources. These trusting relationships allow children and their families to express ongoing issues that are negatively impacting them. It also allows a safe place for families to accept recommended referrals/resources by volunteer social workers.
