Did you know that Sixty and Better partners with other nonprofits as well as grocery stores around the county to bring nutritious food to those in need? In our most recent survey, 88% of participants stated that they receive Tarrant Area Food Bank groceries and we want to help each center make sure this is running as smoothly as possible. Volunteer today to make a difference in the lives of others!
The HomeTowne at Matador Ranch Activity & Wellness Center is looking for volunteers to help with the distribution of the food bank on the second Friday of the month from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Volunteers will help with unloading donated foods from the local food bank truck, sort food into bags, organize food onto tables, interact with participants, and keep the distribution running smoothly.
This opportunity is only once a month.
We are asking that volunteers commit to at least three consecutive months of volunteering for this opportunity.
