Bilingual volunteers need to translate for attorneys and preparers at monthly citizenship clinics, tax preparation clinics, and other financial literacy events. Translators must speak English fluently and one of the following languages: Spanish, French, Chinese, Tagalog, Arabic, Korean, Vietnamese, or Punjabi. English-Spanish translators are especially needed, as well as translators with previous legal experience. Certified translators are preferred. All volunteer translators must attend a brief volunteer training before or on the day of providing services. Must be 18 years and older or accompanied by a parent.
