People become hospice volunteers for many reasons. Many volunteers to express gratitude for help they received during their loved one’s illness. The benefit of engaging in this type of community service is that you’re making a difference where you live. You’re giving back, and you’re helping others. Helping others promotes satisfaction and self-worth. Plus, it’s good for your health-mind, body, and spirit.

Patient Support Volunteer

As a hospice volunteer, you will bring peace, comfort, and joy into the lives of those with terminal illness. Your talents, companionship, and time will enhance the quality of life for each patient and their family members. You will make a difference!

We at Phoenician Hospice are not only a team we are family! We have fun with our patients and staff.

Administrative Volunteer:

An administrative volunteer provides valuable assistance with filing, mailing, special events and many other tasks.

Job Description:

To provide unpaid volunteer services to the hospice patients and their families. In private home, Care facilities and or Group Homes.

This is how to become a Volunteer:

To become a volunteer for Phoenician Hospice you must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record. We provide volunteer training throughout the year.
