  • 5 people are interested

Our annual YWCA Inspire Luncheons bring the community together face to face with the internationally-acclaimed speakers and women whose lives have been changed with help from the YWCA. We rely on our wonderful community to raise funds that support our many programs.

The YWCA's largest fundraising luncheon is coming up. Volunteers will assemble about 300 centerpieces for the tables! Then volunteer will help boxes up the centerpieces so that they'll be ready to go to the event.

When boxing the centerpieces volunteers will assist in assembling cardboard boxes with packing tape, placing centerpieces carefully inside, and stacking the boxes. They are medium-sized boxes and fairly lightweight.

Requirements:

  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers ages 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • This project involves frequent bending and lifting objects up to 10 lbs. Volunteers must be able to perform these tasks on their own as well as go up and down stairs to storage area.

Refreshments will be provided. Please make sure to wear comfortable clothing!

Please contact us at volunteer@ywcaworks.org to sign up!

All YWCA volunteers under age 16 are required to have a parent or guardian volunteer with them.
