Brookside Community Church (bccindy.org) is in need of volunteers to serve in our Sunday morning Children's Ministry program. Our primary focus for our children's ministry is to equip each generation to treasure Christ through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each child from toddler to 5th grade studies the same Scripture passage each week and focuses on who God is, who we are, and why Jesus had to come. Jesus' coming is a fulfillment of a promise from God to defeat Satan, and deliver all of humanity from bondage to sin. We desire our children to embody this Good News of Jesus in their lives.
Volunteers will engage with a diverse group of children each month. Volunteers will serve our children alongside Brookside volunteers to provide a safe and encouraging environment.

Description
After School Play is all about using the Power of Play to see a transformation in the lives of children. We believe that children learn and grow best through play-based programs. We focus on the social-emotional development of children through fun and engaging programs like basketball, coding, robotics, theater, and even cooking. As children are exposed to new ways to have fun, they also grow with the help of caring adult mentor relationships.
