Volunteers with experience submitting the FAFSA or those who want to learn, come one come all! Join the DSF Family and be part of paving the pathway to college for first generation college and/or limited income students.

Volunteers work with 1-5 students per workshop guiding them through submitting their FAFSA.

  • Complete our training and attend 2+ workshops during FAFSA seasons (fall)
  • Already advanced? Work with multiple students at our workshops (mostly in the evenings).
  • Volunteers must go through our volunteer on-boarding process, including completing a background check.
  • DSF seeks culturally sensitive, reliable, warm, and detail-oriented volunteers
  • Spanish speakers always appreciated.
