Doors to Hope, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, is seeking ESL intructors/tutors to work with adults, either one on one or in small groups. Many of our adult students speak Spanish as their native language and come from varying levels of educational backgrounds. We need instructors that can commit to two nights a week Monday-Thursday. Class times are 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Previous ESL instruction is preferred but by no means required.
This a great opportunity for those seeking to volunteer in a multicultural environment!

Description
The goal of Doors to Hope is to provide educational opportunities to the people of the south-central area of Louisville. Doors to Hope is a congregational ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
Doors to Hope provides educational services to Hispanic/Latino immigrant women and children. Founded in 2012, Doors to Hope serves Louisville’s immigrant population in a variety of ways including ESL classes, after school tutoring, GED mentoring, computer access, and women’s group services.
