Position Overview
Facilitate a weekly English conversation club. The goal of the club is to help adults increase fluency and practice speaking.
Responsibilities
- Run a weekly 1.5 hour English conversation club for intermediate and advanced English learners.
- Prepare activities and materials in advance.
- Engage participants through speaking and listening
- Practice real-life scenarios, job interviewing skills, pronunciation and context

Pima College Adult Basic Education for College and Career (ABECC) Mission: We meet every adult learner where they are, honor their strengths and support them to their goals.
We offer free, non-credit high school equivalency classes, English language classes, career contextualized instruction, and citizenship preparation classes.
Volunteers are essential to fulfilling our mission and we welcome inquiries from community members who want to help the thousands of adult students we serve each year.
