Someone needs to give out snacks with a smile while monitoring the donors and making sure they are doing well after donating. Why not you?

Canteen Attendants attend to blood donors after the donation process is complete. They offer a drink and a snack, while ensuring the donor is feeling well and remains in the canteen for at least 15 minutes.

Volunteers can help at a variety of blood drives in the community at high schools, colleges, businesses, churches, donation center (fixed sites) or other community organizations. You choose when and where you would like to volunteer. It could be once a month or as often as you would like. Most of the need is during the work day. But, we are also looking for early evenings and weekends. We aresorry, we cannot help with adult community service hours. We are not currently working with any employment agencies or placement agencies.

*This shift is to fill an on-going shift in the Bethlehem Donor center on Tuesday and Thursday 3:30pm-7:30pm (not every week) Only nights and weekends are available at this time at the donor center but we are also looking for are mobile drives as well.

We are in need of canteen volunteers in the Lehigh Valley area. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood. Please consider helping us make sure it is available.
