Once a week high-school students get together to do a variety of activities, ranging from soccer and video games to attending sporting events and anything else in between. We are looking for 1-4 adult volunteers who can commit to at least two Thursday evenings a month from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. We are looking for men and women who can act as strong, positive role models and will be good influences. This volunteer must enjoy being around high-school students and enjoy high-energy situations. Must be 18+ to participate, 21+ to drive clients. (Note: we have an urgent need for committed adult male volunteers.)

Description
Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte provides services encompassing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a need for:
- Foster care, adoption and pregnancy services
- Individual, marriage and family counseling
- Distribution of donated services to the needy
- Food Pantry
- Acute emergency services
- Enrichment services
- Burial Support
Catholic Charities (CCDOC) Refugee Resettlement program is an affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), one of the national voluntary agencies participating in the federal government's refugee resettlement program. For the past 30 years, the CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program has embraced the mission of providing quality services and a caring support system that will empower our refugee clients to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive members of society. On average, CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program resettles and supports between 350 and 400 refugees per year. All of our services are non-sectarian and do not promote any religious belief or affiliation.
