Community Liaison Volunteer

Do you enjoy meeting and talking to people? Are you passionate about having cancer eliminated and want to do your part to help? We have an opportunity for you! We need a few volunteers to attend health fairs and cancer awareness events hosted by church groups, businesses and other organizations around town to hand out American Cancer Society branded literature. This material covers everything from cancer prevention techniques to information on what to expect and where to turn after a cancer diagnosis. You will not be giving any type of medical advice or opinion -- simply providing the information with a smile. You will also be able to promote our various fundraising events held throughout the year to help us increase revenue to support our mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
