Junior Achievement of Northern California

2nd Grader 3

Complete a one hour training with a JA staff member and then sign up to serve for a total of 5-6 hours in a special education classroom. You will receive a bag full of step-by-step facilitating instructions and all of the materials to lead fun, hands-on activities with a class. Opportunity requires one, 60-minute visit a week over 5 weeks.

Please note you must be over 18 to be a volunteer and have access to reliable personal transportation. JA's volunteer opportunities take place during the school day (Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm).

Locations are at Morrill Middle School & Valle Vista Elementary School in San Jose. Start dates, weekdays, and times vary.
