March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. We believe that every baby deserves the best possible start. Unfortunately, not all babies get one. We are changing that.

For 80 years, March of Dimes has helped millions of babies survive and thrive. Now we’re building on that legacy to level the playing field for all moms and babies, no matter their age, socio-economic background or demographics. We support moms throughout their pregnancy, even when everything doesn’t go according to plan. We advocate for policies that prioritize their health. We support radical improvements to the care they receive. And we pioneer research to find solutions to the biggest health threats to moms and babies.

Our 2019 Polk County March for Babies Walk will be held on Saturday, May 4th on the lawn of First Presbyterian Church on Lake Hollingsworth. It promises to be a fun day with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. Families, companies, and supporters from all over Polk County will be walking to support the March of Dimes' critical mission. It's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families.

We are in need of volunteers to help with the following:
- Set Up
- Clean Up
- Registration
- Volunteer Check-In
- Fun Zone (Bounce House, Face painting)
- Food Stations
- Route cheer Leaders

Set up will begin at 5:30am and the event will wrap up around 11:30am.

Each Volunteer will receive an event t-shirt and food on the day of the event for volunteering your time!
