Help alleviate hunger in the Greater Waterville Area by volunteering with Alfond Youth Center’s nutrition and food insecurity community volunteer team. Working with local businesses and resources our volunteers help coordinate donations, assembly and distribution of weekend backpacks with enough food for a family of four. Backpacks are distributed each week at the Alfond Youth Center.

The Alfond Youth Center hosts a combined YMCA and Boys and Girls Club with programs and services that promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
The Alfond Youth Center is a safe place to learn and grow - all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day.
