Market Volunteer Description

Mission Statement
Empowering people on their journey to self sufficiency and wholeness.
Description
Individuals and families experiencing an immediate crisis or living in poverty have basic needs that go unmet. These unmet physical and spiritual needs can adversely impact the stability of their families and consequently their communities.
The Mansfield Mission Center provides financial assistance, resources, and customized action plans focusing on intervention and prevention methods that support a household’s success.
We have found that there is a great need for job and life skills, resource management education, coping skills to effectively handle emergencies, and positive support systems. We believe that through prayer, training, and proper support, individuals and families can experience economic self-sufficiency and wholeness. This holistic approach will allow them to be not only recipients of services but partners and leaders that eventually support their communities.
