We have been fighting invasive Autumn olive since the park opened. Volunteers have helped us achieve great success with the plant’s removal in several areas of at least an acre each. For this gathering, we will continue our work battling this woody pest within a relatively new work zone. Our efforts will remain focused on expanding the early successional habitat restoration area started in September.
