General description of work:

The Volunteer Donations Distribution Coordinator (VDDC) is responsible for assisting the Dayroom Manager in the work distributing clothing, shoes and hygiene supplies to guests on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12:30 - 3:30. The VDDC will also schedule volunteers and oversee their work during clothing distribution times. This position does have guest contact.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Coordinator with distribution of clothing, hygiene supplies, outdoor gear and other items received
• Keep clothing room organized and in good order
• Perform regular inventory to ensure adequate stock for upcoming season
• Ensure that clothing distribution and storage areas are clean and safe.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Desired:

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Detail and deadline oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects within tight schedules
• Must be self-motivated
• Good with handling difficult people
