I am a part of a research group called the Human in the Loop Research Project and we are in need of participants for our study! We would greatly appreciate it if you could join us on campus to participate in a 30-minute experiment, or if you would please forward this email along to those who may be interested! We would love to have you and anyone you know to do the experiment! Also, please contact me if you are interested in joining the recruitment team and learn more about our project! Note: You must be at least 18 to participate in this study.

A brief background on the experiment: Your task is to use a handheld device that is equipped with pins on the bottom, which you will need to push 50% and vibrations will guide you.

Please email me directly and I am happy to answer any questions you might have. My email address is kang1448@email.arizona.edu

Description

Human Loop Research Project is conducted by researchers in the University of Arizona, which is a 10-year project aims to answer four questions: 1. What is the best kind of tactile (or audio tactile) feedback that can be given to provide guidance for users in a fine motor movement based on orientation task? 2. What is the analytical model that can describe human behavior (fine movements of the hand)? 3. With what sort of active controller can we optimize orientation task performance? 4. How does optimized performance compare to non-optimized?
