Special Olympics Connecticut and Eversource are teamed up to make Snow for our annual Winter Games. Volunteers are needed to work directly with the Snowmaking committee members of Eversource in all aspects of creating manmade snow for the Special Olympics Connecticut Winter Games, February 2019 and 2020. Over 200 athletes compete in Snow Shoes and Cross Country Skiing at the Winter Games and without this manmade snow operation, there is no guarantee they would have suitable conditions for competition.
