American Cancer Society, Drive For Life Golf Classic - Volunteers Needed

The American Cancer Society is looking for Passionate Volunteers!

We are just weeks from the most anticipated golf event of the season;

The 39 th Annual Drive For Life Golf Classic on Monday May 13 th!

This year’s golf outing will be located at:

Pinnacle Golf Club

1500 Pinnacle Club Drive

Grove City, OH 43123

We would be so thrilled if you were to come help make the day even better. If you have volunteered before, thank you. We would love to have you back! If you haven’t yet volunteered, plan on it! It is an awesome event and a really, fun day!

I’m looking for volunteers in a few shifts:

8:00 am - 12:00 Noon:

• Responsibilities: Set up & Registration begins @ 10 am.
• This shift includes a light breakfast and Lunch is provided.

1:30 pm - 5:30 pm:

• Responsibilities: Set up the afternoon arrangement and items.
• This shift Lunch is provided.

4:00 pm - 8:00 pm:

• Responsibilities: Prep additional areas and items for Dinner and the Program.
• Most importantly clean-up, which doesn’t take long!
• This shift Dinner is provided.

Here is what we need:

1. Share your shirt size for the volunteer shirts!

(If you still have your shirt from last season, we will use those for 2019 as well.)

1. Availability - Please let me know your availability by: Tuesday, April 30 th.

** Volunteers who golf: As usual, if you golf, please feel free to bring your clubs in your trunk. As in the past we have had volunteers asked to fill in when a registered golfer cannot attend. And while we are thrilled to offer this chance, it is never guaranteed that you will be asked to fill in. The only requirement, if asked, is that you pay the $100 Eagle Package fee.
