Our volunteer experience will support skills acquisition and development in a safe, inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace that respects the rights of all Canadians. We will provide mentoring and skills development opportunities.
All team members will enhance their employability prospects by gaining career related experience while directly impacting the lives of Sheen for She’s clients. Our clients belong to a mixtures of ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities.
You will be working in a family-like team setting, in which a variety of skills, from varying educational backgrounds and experiences are welcome. Depending on a your professional endeavours, you may be involved in one or more of the following responsibilities of a Finance Manager/General Manager: book-keeping, grant writing, budgeting, project tracking and more.
You can create your own schedule, grow your skills, and earn volunteer hours, if needed. The majority of our volunteer opportunties are remote. For all in-person activities, adequate PPE, safety precautions, and training are provided and implemented.

The Sheen for She Foundation is a Canadian non-profit with a mission to address and prevent physical and mental health issues faced by women dealing with socioeconomic crisis due to violence, homelessness, and drug addiction by providing medical esthetics, self-defense/fitness training, self-care workshops for professional and personal grooming, and group support programs. Sheen for She believes that self-care not only affects the way other people view us but also affects the way we see ourselves, which is why it is a basic human right that should be made accessible to all women - regardless of their class and financial status. Expensive grooming spa services exclude lower to middle-class women from accessing the benefits of self-care. Exclusively preventing them from progressing in their professional and personal lives. The only organization of its kind, Sheen for She, defeats these barriers by offering these out of reach self-care services for free.
