Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-proselytizing Christian housing ministry that serves low-income families in Snohomish County by providing opportunities for affordable home ownership under the Habitat for Humanity International mission. Our mission is seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County brings people together to build homes, community and hope. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to live.
Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County is offering an opportunity to join the board of directors with our affiliate of the internationally well-recognized nonprofit. This opportunity is for individuals who are passionate about Habitat’s mission and willing to commit time to an organization in a restructuring phase.
A qualified board director will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Board directors are expected to attend the monthly evening board meeting, serve on a committee and use their expertise to further the organization’s mission. All board members have a fundraising responsibility and are encouraged to leverage their personal network; training will be provided in this area as needed. The overall time commitment is between 16-20 hours per month.
