National History Day is an annual competition that encourages students to explore local, state, national, or world history by investigating and presenting on a topic of their choice. Students work either individually or in groups to take a deep dive into their topic, analyzing historical sources and gaining valuable research skills.
We are currently looking for individuals to judge the Baton Rouge Regional Competition.

Mission Statement
The mission of the West Baton Rouge Historical Association is to foster an interest in parish history, encourage and pursue research, and collect and preserve materials illustrating past or present parish activities. The West Baton Rouge Historical Association collaborates with local communities to preserve the rich and diverse history of our parish.
Description
The West Baton Rouge Museum, owned by the Historical Association, is an educational resource committed to researching, collecting, preserving and presenting artifacts, documents, art objects, and the like that reflect the history and cultural heritage of West Baton Rouge Parish and the surrounding areas for the benefit of the general public and future generations.

- Judges check in between 7:30-8:30. Judging begins at 9:00. Deliberations and final tallies will be finished by 12:30.
