Do you enjoy baking, celebrating, and building community? Do you want to help build community while supporting Habitat Milwaukee's mission?
Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity has three ReStores in the Milwaukee area, each of which are staff by volunteers. We're looking for volunteers who are willing to give time every week to strengthen those volunteer communities.
What kind of community-building activities would you be doing?
-Baking cakes, circulating cards, and decorating the break room for volunteers on their birthdays
-Assisting ReStore staff in planning parties
-Creating social activities to bring ReStore volunteers together
-And more...bring your ideas along with!

Description
Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing by working alongside future homeowners and volunteers to build and rehab simple, decent and affordable houses. Milwaukee Habitat also two donation-driven retail stores called the ReStores.
All proceeds from ReStore sales benefit Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity's mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. The ReStore is stocked exclusively with donated items such as new and used furniture, appliances, kitchen cabinets, building materials and other home goods.
