Tech Help Volunteer Position at the Philomath Library

1-2 hours per week to assist library patrons with basic-intermediate level tech questions. Tasks including but not limited to: using a mouse, conducting internet searches, setting up/logging into a free web email account, resetting passwords, printing documents, using PDF’s, scanning documents, using flash drives. Also may include helping patrons with downloadable library materials. Volunteer will also help ensure tidiness of computer area, restocking scrap paper/pencils at workstations, filling printer paper, cleaning keyboards/screens/mice, sharpening colored pencils, refilling coloring sheets at stations, making copies for staff, cutting scrap paper, and shredding documents for staff as needed."
